Dr. Marisol Tiller was born in Venezuela to Colombian parents and came to the US when she was 1 year old. She grew up fluently bilingual in Spanish and English. Her parents’ example of hard work and perseverance shaped Dr. Tiller’s work ethic.

Dr. Tiller was raised in New York and received her undergraduate degree from NYU, then went on to receive a Masters in Physiology from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. While at Georgetown she discovered her interest in dentistry while doing oral cancer research at the Lombardi Cancer Center. Dr. Tiller went on to graduate from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore.

Dr. Tiller is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. She keeps herself updated with the latest dental literature and continuing education courses, as well as participating in a local Spear Study Club. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, running, and shopping.

She has been in private practice since graduation and has worked with patients from 8 months to 96 years of age. While in practice she has gained ample experience in restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, and periodontics. Dr. Tiller is very warm and makes it her goal to get to know her patients personally and make them feel comfortable. She is dedicated to providing excellent care to her patients while maintaining lasting relationships with all of them.
